Recipients Named for Club Funds Raised in 2023

The Rotary Club of Morganton is excited to announce recipients of grants from our 2023 fundraising activities.

The Emergency Shelter Network in Burke County was in need of cots and privacy screens to support the emergency overnight shelter when the winter weather is bitterly cold.

Scholarships for three local high school students to support their continuing education either at a university or community college offered through the Community Foundation of Burke County.

The Enola Group whose mission is to educate children and their families, adults with intellectual disabilities and communities through creativity and opportunities, has received funds to support their Cozy Bottoms Cloth Diaper Bank to meet the basic need of diapering for infants and toddlers and provide parents with a sustainable source of diapers for their children.

RCM was delighted to have guest speaker Brad Lail join the club again for their February 13th meeting. Brad shared his recent experience at the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) camp, and the club was proud to sponsor him for his second year at RYLA!
